Rafael Nadal Loses to Belgian Steve Darcis in First Round at Wimbledon

Who would have thought that the great Rafael Nadal would be out of the Wimbledon Championship so early on in the game? Nadal had just won (15 days before this loss) the 2013 French Open, making it his 12th Grand Slam win. But Nadal was having problems at the start of his game against No. 135 Belgian player Steve Darcis, who has a total of 2 ATP wins this season, and in the first round the Spaniard was beaten 7-6(4), 7-6(8) and 6-4. The defeat for Rafael, who is the fifth seed, was a blow for the Wimbledon tournament but is a plus for defending champion Roger Federer, who has currently won a total of seven Wimbledon Championships.
