Djokovic & Azarenka win 2016 BNP Paribas Open
Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic has beaten Milos Raonic from Canada in a 6-2, 6-0 defeat in Indian Wells, Ca., home of the BNP Paribas Open. The victory brings Djokovic’s record to 22 wins and one loss for this year. In the women’s tournament, Victoria Azarenka brought home the trophy, defeating number one player Serena Williams in a 6-4, 6-4 win. Azarenka’s victory is her second BNP Paribas Open crown with a total of nineteen career titles. Both Djokovic and Azarenka took home $1.02 million along with the crystal trophy.
